Curriculum

The Data Science program is a Certification program in Big Data Analytics, Data Science. Students can complete the eight modules required for the Data Science at their own pace, in as little as six weeks to eight weeks. Students receive lectures through the Industry experienced lectures, and also are advised and assessed by faculty and teaching assistants on the rigorous set of assignments, projects, and exams required.

The core Applied Deep Learning course focuses on tool-oriented and problem-directed lessons in Deep learning.

Application areas include computer vision, natural language processing, interpreting accelerometer data, and understanding audio data.

Machine Learning

Companies collect and store large amounts of data during daily transactions. This data is both structured and unstructured. The volume of the data being collected has grown from MB to TB in the past few years and is continuing to grow at an exponential pace. The very large size, lack of structure and the pace at which it is growing characterize the “Machine Learning”. To analyze long-term trends and patterns in the data and provide actionable intelligence to managers, this data needs to be consolidated and processed in specialized processes; those techniques form the core of the module
